Returning to the Word of God: A Solution to Today’s Chaos

When the World Goes Crazy

The world has gone crazy.
You look around and hardly recognize what you see.
Things that were once solid, unquestioned, and rooted in common sense are now being challenged — even discarded like yesterday’s trash.

This chaos reveals something deeper:

  • People are no longer rooted in the Word of God.
  • Confusion is spreading like wildfire.
  • And yes — we are closer to the return of Jesus than we were even a few years ago.

But all the insanity we see is only a symptom.
The real problem is this:

People stopped reading the Word of God.

Milk vs. Meat — A Church Growing Backwards

Instead of feeding on Scripture, many Christians rely only on what the preacher says on Sunday.
And because of that, believers who should be eating meat are back on milk.

Jesus said:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
— Matthew 4:4

Just as your body grows weak without daily food, your spirit grows weak without daily Scripture.

Sunday morning preaching alone will not sustain you.
It never has.
It never will.

A Warning From Jesus Himself

Jesus warned that in the last days:

“…there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets… insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Who are the elect?

  • Those who read and study the Word daily
  • Those who pray continually
  • Those who walk closely with Jesus
  • Those who know His voice

Not the “Sunday morning only” crowd.
Not those who think one sermon a week is enough.

Jesus said that if God did not intervene, even the elect would be deceived.
That is how strong the deception will be.

So Many Voices — But Only One Truth

Today, false teachers and false prophets are everywhere.
Some are popular.
Some are entertaining.
Some sound spiritual.

But many are not speaking truth.

My advice?

Stop listening to everyone.
Start listening to God Almighty.

His Word does not change.
His truth does not shift with culture.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Paul warned us:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine… and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
— 2 Timothy 4:3–4

That time is not coming.
It is here.

Many preachers now cater to itching ears — preaching what people want to hear instead of what they need to hear.

If what you hear from the pulpit does not line up with Scripture, it may be time to find a new gathering place.
For some, that means a different church.
For others, it may mean gathering with family and friends in your home.

Jesus never said, “Go to church and preach.”
He said:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”
— Matthew 28:18–20

The mission is teaching, not entertaining.
Feeding, not flattering.

Churches Are Failing — And Souls Are Starving

Many churches today are failing to:

  • Reach the lost
  • Reach the children sitting in their own pews
  • Feed their members spiritually
  • Help those who are struggling

This is unacceptable.

Jesus told Peter three times:

“Feed my lambs… Tend my sheep… Feed my sheep.”
— John 21:15–17

What food was Peter supposed to give?

The true Word of God.

Not opinions.
Not trends.
Not motivational speeches.
Not watered‑down sermons.

The Answer for This World

The answer to the chaos, confusion, and deception in our world is simple:

Return to the spiritual food given by the Creator of the world.

Return to Scripture.
Return to truth.
Return to Jesus.

Only the Word of God can anchor us in a world gone mad.
