Exploring God’s Eternity: A Comprehensive Bible Study

From eternity past to eternity future, the story of God unfolds with purpose, power, and perfect order. This Bible study series is designed to help you trace that story — not just from Genesis to Revelation, but from before the foundation of the world to the eternal kingdom that has no end.

This study guide traces the story of Scripture from eternity past to eternity future. Each section builds on the previous one, showing how God’s plan unfolds through history and revelation.

1. Counsel — Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Before creation, God existed in perfect unity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This divine counsel planned redemption before the world began (Ephesians 1:4–5). It reminds us that salvation was never an afterthought—it was God’s eternal purpose.

Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:26; John 1:1–3; Ephesians 1:3–10

2. Creation

God spoke the universe into existence, forming the heavens, the earth, and all living things. Humanity was made in His image to reflect His character and steward His creation.

Key Scriptures: Genesis 1–2; Psalm 19:1; Colossians 1:16

3. Conscience

After the fall, God gave people a conscience—a moral awareness of right and wrong. This inner guide revealed His standards even before written law.

Key Scriptures: Genesis 3; Romans 2:14–15

4. Prophets

Throughout history, God raised up prophets to speak His word and call His people back to righteousness. They foretold the coming of the Messiah and revealed God’s heart for justice and mercy.

Key Scriptures: Isaiah 7:14; Jeremiah 1:4–10; Micah 6:8

5. Holy Scriptures

The written Word preserves God’s revelation through the ages. The Scriptures testify of Christ and guide believers in truth and holiness.

Key Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; John 5:39; Psalm 119:105

6. But Now — Jesus

In the fullness of time, Jesus came as the living Word. His birth, life, death, and resurrection fulfilled prophecy and opened the way for salvation.

Key Scriptures: John 1:14; Galatians 4:4–5; Hebrews 1:1–3

7. The Cross

The cross is the center of redemption. Through His sacrifice, Jesus reconciled humanity to God, defeating sin and death.

Key Scriptures: John 19:30; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 1:18

8. Ascension

After His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven, where He intercedes for believers and prepares a place for them.

Key Scriptures: Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25; John 14:2–3

9. Pentecost

The Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers, empowering them to spread the gospel and live in spiritual victory.

Key Scriptures: Acts 2:1–4; Joel 2:28–29; Romans 8:11

10. Church Age

This is the era of grace—the time when the Church carries the message of salvation to the world. Believers are called to live as Christ’s body, showing His love and truth.

Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Peter 2:9

11. Revelations

The final book of the Bible reveals the culmination of God’s plan: Christ’s return, judgment, and the creation of a new heaven and earth. It assures believers that God’s victory is complete.

Key Scriptures: Revelation 1:1–8; Revelation 21:1–4; Revelation 22:12–13
