Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups self-rising corn meal.
  • 1-cup cream corn
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ½ cup grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp. green peppers
    (chopped)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Mix all ingredients except cheese.
  3. Pour half of batter in hot grease iron skillet.
  4. Spread half of cheese on batter.
  5. Then pour rest of batter.
  6. Top with cheese.
  7. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes or until done.
