STEP 1

• Children point to each ball and say, one; one two; one two three etc.

STEP 2

• Direct children to write the numbers and the number words side by side.

STEP 3

• Supplement this exercise by having children line up and count physical objects. After they count each number of physical objects, have the children spell the number using the chart about to help with spelling.
