🍋Lemonade 🥸Disguised

A warm cranberry‑spice lemonade that tastes like a cozy holiday drink — but it’s secretly lemonade in disguise.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • ¾ cup water
  • 5 or 6 whole cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 (6‑oz) can frozen concentrated lemonade, softened

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberry juice, water, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
  2. Heat over medium until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Cover the pan, remove from heat, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Place a strainer over a large pitcher and pour the hot liquid through it.
    • The strainer will catch the spices — discard them.
  5. Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Add the softened lemonade concentrate and mix well.
  7. Reheat gently until hot but not boiling.
  8. Pour into cups and serve warm.

Yield

Serves 8.

Serving Tip

Add a thin slice of lemon or a few cranberries to each cup for a pretty presentation.
