People around the world may speak different languages, eat different foods, wear different clothing, and celebrate different holidays. These differences make our world interesting and special.
Even though people may live far apart, they share many things in common. Families everywhere care for one another, children learn and play, and communities work together.
People Can Be Friends Even When They Are Different
Good friends do not have to be exactly alike. People can be friends with others who come from different countries, speak different languages, or have different traditions.
We can learn new things when we make friends with people who are different from us.
Working Together Helps Everyone
When people work together, they can accomplish more than they can alone.
