Don’t cry little one when you don’t think anyone cares. I know someone who cares for you. His name is Jesus. He is always there and cares for you.
Don’t cry little one when you don’t think anyone hears you or thinks what you say is important. Jesus hears you and cries for you. He thinks what you say is very important. You are his child.
Don’t cry little one when people make fun. I know someone who cares for you, and who won’t laugh at you. His name is Jesus; Jesus loves you just the way you are. He understands all of our needs. Jesus thinks we are very special just the way we are.
He holds the whole world in his hands. Jesus loves you and is always there for you. So don’t cry little one. Jesus loves you just the way you are even though the world is big and not fair; and sometimes it doesn’t care. Jesus cares for all so don’t cry little one. Jesus loves you just the way you are.
Story behind the poem
Hi, I am Bell. I wrote this poem in my head on Easter Sunday. Now this is not a normal poem for Easter. It not one for Easter. Like other people my family and I go to church on Easter. I am not like other people. I have autism. Some people that have autism doesn’t like loud noises or a lot of people in one small place. I am one of them. Our church doesn’t have that many people, but our church’s music is more like a noise then music to God. My family and I been to a lot of churches. All of them were loud and noisy. The people said if we need anything or need any kind of help to ask so we ask them to turn the music down. They make fun of us and laugh. When they practiced the next Sunday the sound man turns it up louder. At the same church, the sound man said to all the people, “that when people say it is too loud, he turns to up louder”. I ask my mom why he does this and she said they don’t care so they make fun. They think it is funny. So, they make fun and laugh. This is wrong.
Things to ask yourself
- Do you think Jesus laughs at people who think something is to loud?
- Do you make fun of people that think something is too loud?
- Are you doing this?
