Materials Lists

Basic Supplies

  • laptop/chromebook/desktop computer + internet connection
  • pencilpaperprinterprinter inkcrayons or colored pencils, water color paint with various sized paint brushes
  • binder or folders to keep worksheets in
  • notebook(s) or printed lined paper 
  • staplertapeglue stickscissors
  • ruler
  • It would be nice to have construction paper (or other colored paper) and brass fasteners (used sometimes in lapbooks).
  • Art paper
  • There are many lapbooks used throughout the curriculum, some courses and grade levels more than others. You can attach the lapbook pieces just to regular paper and have them in your child’s binder; you can use the traditional file folder. There are no rules about how you use the lapbook pieces.

Other supplies maybe needed. It is always a good idea to look at the lesson plans a week ahead of time.

Here are the grade level materials need for each subject.

Kindergarten

1st grade

  • Social Studies
  • Language/ Reading
  • Science
    • week 8
      • Small objects that can be dropped to the floor without harm (e.g. pencil, cotton ball, plastic bottle cap, etc.).
      • ruler, scissors, 5 identical fishing weights, string, balcony, playground platform, ladder, or other secure surface about 10 feet from the ground

2nd grade

6th grade
