God’s Faithfulness to All Mankind, to All Generations
God Declares His Eternal Faithfulness
Isaiah 46:9–10 (KJV)
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else;
I am God, and there is none like me,
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying,
My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.
Isaiah 48:3–5 (KJV)
I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them;
I did them suddenly, and they came to pass…
I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee…
These passages anchor the truth that God’s redemptive plan is not reactive—it is eternal, deliberate, and unfolding exactly as He declared.
The Five Movements of God’s Redemptive Plan
1. God Has a Plan
Before the foundation of the world, God purposed to redeem mankind and reconcile a people unto Himself.
Key Scriptures:
- Acts 2:23–24 — Christ delivered by the determinate counsel of God
- Ephesians 1 — chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world
- Revelation 13:8 — the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world
- Exodus 19:4–6 — God calling a people to Himself
God’s plan is older than creation itself.
2. God Speaks the Plan
Hebrews 1:1 (KJV)
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets…
Through prophets, covenants, promises, and types, God revealed His plan piece by piece across generations.

3. God Executes the Plan
God demonstrates His unfolding purpose through the nation of Israel.
Genesis 11–25: The Birth of a Nation
- Abraham — called out by God
- Isaac — the child of promise
- Jacob — renamed Israel
- The twelve sons — the twelve tribes
Israel becomes the stage upon which God displays His covenant faithfulness and prepares the world for the Redeemer.
4. God Accomplishes the Plan
The First Promise of Redemption
- Genesis 3:15 — the Seed who would crush the serpent
The Fulfillment in Christ
- Romans 3:21–26 — But now the righteousness of God is revealed in Jesus
- The Gospels — His birth, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection
John 19:30 (KJV)
It is finished.
The Promise of His Return
John 14:2–3 (KJV)
I go to prepare a place for you… I will come again.
Christ’s finished work secures salvation; His promised return secures our hope.
5. God Completes the Plan
The Eternal Kingdom
Revelation 21:3–7 — God dwelling with His people, all things made new
Revelation 22:12–13 — Christ coming quickly, the Alpha and Omega
The Final Word
Acts 15:18 (KJV)
Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
What God began before time, He will complete in eternity.
