The Penny Sayings

Oh, the little penny is the smallest of all the money, but it’s the one that has three sayings.

All of us may know one of the three sayings, “find a penny, pick it up and all day long have good luck”.

But what about the other two?

Well one of the other says, “a penny saved is a penny earned” and the other one says, “Find a penny, pick it up and remember that In God We Trust”.

Today some of us forget to trust in God to provide for our needs.

A penny helps us to remember to trust in God and reminds us that a penny saved is a penny earned.

On the penny it says, “In God We Trust”, but today people do not trust.

They do not have faith in God in today’s world.

There are some people that still have faith in God, but not many.

Don’t get mixed up, “In God We Trust” does not mean we should trust the penny.

We should trust in God, not the penny.

The penny helps us to remember that in God we trust, and a penny saved is a saved is a penny earned.

That means when you save your penny you get to keep it.
