Meat balls can be great. You can put them in a sauce and just eat them, or you can put them in spaghetti. My daughter, who is very picky about eating meat, likes these in spaghetti.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 3/4 soft breadcrumbs (1 slice of bread)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped green sweet pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces ground beef
Directions:
- In a large bowl combine the egg, breadcrumbs, onion, green sweet pepper, dried oregano, crushed, and salt.
- Add ground beef and mix well.
- Shape into 24 meatballs.
- Arrange meatballs in a 15×10×1-inch baking pan.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done (160°F).
- Drain.
- Use as desired.
