Easy Leftover Turkey Biscuit Bake

Leftover Biscuit Special

Ingredients:

  • Mix up some Biscuit dough making sure to blend 1/4 teaspoon marjoram into dry ingredients
  • 2 cups diced turkey, lunch meat, or any other leftover meat
  • 1/4 cups leftover gravy
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste (depending upon amount of seasoning in gravy)

Directions:

  1. Set out a baking sheet and a 1-qt. saucepan.
  2. Prepare dough for biscuits.
  3. Roll biscuit dough into a rectangle 1/4 in. thick. Set aside while preparing filling.
  4. For Filling: Have ready meat, gravy, egg, and onion and set aside.
  5. Heat in saucepan 3/4 cup of the leftover gravy.
  6. Vigorously stir about 3 tablespoons hot gravy into egg.
  7. Immediately blend into hot gravy and cook 2 to 3 min.
  8. Blend in 1 cup of the diced meat, chopped onion, salt and pepper.
  9. Spread filling on biscuit dough.
  10. Starting with long side of dough, roll; pinch ends to seal.
  11. Place on baking sheet.
  12. Bake at 450°F 10 to 15 min.
  13. Meanwhile, heat together in a saucepan remaining meat and gravy.
  14. Serve over roll.

    While turkey roll is baking, prepare Fried Mushrooms. Then stir the fried mushrooms into meat-gravy mixture to be served over roll.
