Jesus picked these 12 Disciples to help him.
- He sent them two by two into the world as lamb to wolfs. He sent them to teach everyone that the kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus told them to take nothing, but what you are wearing.
- Jesus told them to be brave and speak out what I have taught you.
- You have nothing to fear from someone who can only kill the Body. The One You should fear is God.
- He (Jesus) reminded them that when someone welcomes you, they welcome me (Jesus). If Someone gives you a drink of water because you are my disciples, he or she will be rewarded.
- In those days, the days of Jesus, the people had two things they traveled with. Those two things were a staff and a traveler’s Bag.
