Jesus picked these 12 Disciples to help him.

• He sent them two by two into the world as lamb to wolfs. He sent them to teach everyone that the kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus told them to take nothing, but what you are wearing.

    • A scrip is typically a small pouch or satchel made from leather or cloth, used by shepherds and travelers to carry food, tools, and other necessities.
    • A traveler’s bag is a general term for any bag used by travelers, which can vary in size and material depending on the individual’s needs.
    • Jesus told His disciples not to carry anything but to trust in God for their needs.
  • In Jesus’ Day, almost everyone carried a staff.
    • Travelers particularly benefited from having one because journeys can take a long time, and you may walk on rough ground.
