The Book of Revelation is a very complicated book. Many people have various ideas about this book. However, the best way to study this book is to remember a few facts. Also remember that there is prophecy concerning the end times in the Old Testament. Those prophecies must be taken into consideration when studying the book of Revelation.
- The Bible always interprets itself.
- Let everything be confirmed by 2 or 3 witnesses. In other words, if the principle or point is not confirmed elsewhere in the Bible, try again.
- God wants everything done in decency and in order. That means that the book of Revelation is written in the correct order according to God.
- When in doubt ask God. He has promised that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide you in all truth. This means pray when reading the Bible, especially the book of Revelation and any other difficult to understand part.
