Understanding End Times: A Prophetic Overview Chart

A dramatic scene depicting the 7th Trumpet Resurrection with various biblical figures, an angel playing a trumpet, Jesus on a horse, and a chaotic landscape symbolizing good and evil.

From the first pages of Scripture to the final Amen of Revelation, God has never left His people without a witness. The prophets saw it in visions, Jesus taught it on the Mount of Olives, Paul explained it to the churches, and John recorded it in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Though they lived centuries apart, their voices rise together like a choir—each carrying a different harmony, yet all proclaiming the same great story: the Day of the LORD, the triumph of the Lamb, and the gathering of His people at the last trumpet.

When we lay their words side by side—Ezekiel’s shaking earth, Joel’s darkened skies, Daniel’s sealed visions, Zechariah’s returning King, Jesus’ trumpet call, Paul’s mystery of resurrection, and John’s seventh trumpet—we discover not chaos, but a breathtaking unity. Every prophet, every apostle, every vision points toward the same climactic moment when heaven and earth meet, when kingdoms fall, when the dead are raised, and when Christ takes His rightful throne.

This chart is an attempt to honor that unity. It gathers the threads of Ezekiel, Joel, Daniel, the Major and Minor Prophets, Matthew 24, Paul’s letters, and the book of Revelation, and lays them across one timeline—not to force Scripture, but to let Scripture interpret Scripture. It is bold, yes, but it is also deeply reverent, trusting that the Author of history has woven His message with perfect consistency.

At the center of this tapestry stands a single, resounding truth:
the resurrection and gathering of God’s people occur at the last trumpet—the seventh trumpet—when the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (Revelation 11:15–18; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52; Matthew 24:31).

This is not a chart of fear, but of hope.
Not a puzzle to confuse, but a promise to anchor.
Not a secret code, but a testimony of God’s faithfulness from age to age.

As you walk through these pages, may your heart be strengthened, your discernment sharpened, and your hope renewed. The same God who spoke through the prophets is the God who will keep every word. And the same Jesus who ascended with a promise will return with a trumpet.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
