Vocabulary

Wonted: Habitual; usual.
Habiliments: Clothing.
Gaiters: A garment similar to leggings, worn to cover or protect the ankle and lower leg.
Countenance: A person’s face or facial expression.
Panoply: A splendid display.
Gaoler: A person in charge of a jail or of the prisoners in it.
Murrain: A plague, epidemic, or crop blight.
