Quick and Easy Stuffed Fish Recipe
Stuffed fish is a fast tasty meal. We like to have this on Friday nights.
Ingredients:
- Stuffing (Prepared) I have linked to a great stuffing recipe.
- 2 pounds plain, raw fish fillets
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (it is possible replace the lemon juice, black pepper, margarine or butter and salt with lemon pepper seasoning)
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1/4 black pepper
- Salt (to taste)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Rinse fish under cold running water. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Spray baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Put half the fish in the dish.
- Spoon the stuffing over the fish. Place the remaining fish fillets over the stuffing.
- Melt remaining 1/4 cup margarine. Stir in lemon juice and pepper. Spoon over the top layer of fish. (Or if you are using the lemon pepper seasoning use it.)
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes or until the fish pulls apart easily in layers.
