🎯 Goal
Help children understand that on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit made it possible for everyone to hear about Jesus in their own language — because God’s love is for the whole world.
🕊️ Step 1 — Start With the Story
Tell the children:
“On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit helped Jesus’ followers speak in many languages so everyone could understand the good news.”
Then say:
“Today we’re going to try speaking in different languages too!”

🌎 Step 2 — Teach One Phrase
Use the phrase:
“Jesus loves you.”
Teach it in a few languages. Kids LOVE this part.
- English: Jesus loves you
- Spanish: Jesús te ama
- French: Jésus t’aime
- German: Jesus liebt dich
- Swahili: Yesu anakupenda
- Korean: 예수님은 너를 사랑하셔 (Yesunim-eun neoreul saranghasyeo)

🎤 Step 3 — Call‑and‑Repeat Game
Say one of the languages out loud.
Kids repeat it back to you.
Then switch languages quickly — they LOVE the challenge.
🧠 Step 4 — Guess the Language
Say the phrase in one language.
Kids guess which one it is.
This helps them remember that Pentecost was about understanding.
🧩 Step 5 — Match the Flags
Show flags
Kids match the flag to the language.
You can use:
- English -US
- Spain – 🇪🇸
- France – 🇫🇷
- Germany – 🇩🇪
- South Korea – 🇰🇷
- Italy – IT
This reinforces that the gospel is for every nation.
❤️ Step 6 — Connect It to Their Hearts
Ask:
- “Why do you think God wanted everyone to hear in their own language?”
- “How does it feel when someone talks to you in a way you understand?”
- “Who can YOU tell that Jesus loves them?”
This ties the game back to Acts 2 and Jeremiah 31 — God speaks to hearts.
