Scripture Cake is one of those old‑fashioned treasures that blends faith, family, and the joy of baking into a single loaf. Long before recipe cards were common, mothers and Sunday‑schoolteachers used this “puzzle cake” to help children open their Bibles, look up verses, and discover each ingredient for themselves. Every measurement becomes a small moment of Scripture study, and every step turns the kitchen into a place of learning and delight.

This cake carries the flavor of heritage—sweet raisins and figs, warm spices, and the gentle richness of honey—all woven together with verses that remind us of God’s provision. Whether you’re making it for a church gathering, a homeschool lesson, or simply to enjoy a meaningful treat at home, Scripture Cake invites you to slow down, open the Word, and savor both the process and the result.
