I love you O Lord, you are my strength. You are my rock and my deliverer. You are my light and my saver, who should I fear?
You, God, set my feet on the rock. You Shield me with love; I put my faith in you; So, I may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
You help me. Stand with the belt of truth, and the breast plate of righteousness.
I stand in your word, I hid it in my heart, I will stand ready to tell others of you, God. You help me put on the shoes of the Gospel of peace.
I will call upon your name God for your name is worthy to be praised I will stand for you, for you, are my saver, I will put on the helmet of salvation.
And I will stand with the sword of the spirit, which is your word, that I have hid in my heart.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
This is a fictional story about a Missionary family who lives in a Submarine. Parts 1 and 2 are finished. I will be writing a few more parts as time goes on.
After the storm at sea, we were all glad to be on dry land. After one day of rest, we went to visit our grandparents. Our Grandparents live in an old castle. The castle has 3 floors plus the attic. When we got to the castle. Our Grandparents. Welcome us with hugs, kisses, and lunch. Then we talk a little bit about what happen last time we were together.
Then we had to go meet Pastor David Campbell. So, we said our goodbyes and jumped into the rental car. Pastor David, and his family were aways so nice to us. When we got to the church, we saw Pastor David and Mrs. Campbell. Pastor David had two kids of his own one was around Joy’s age and her name is Fiona. The other was around Mark’s age, and his name is Patrick. Well, that is how many kids he had last time we were here. When we all got out of the car, we saw that Pastor David was holding a baby! “Pastor David has a baby!” Danny said loudly as he ran around in the grass. “Yes,” Little Danny, “I do.” “What is the baby’s name our mother asks?” “His name is Jack,” said Mrs. Campbell. Now that we have said our hellos, I think I know two people who want to see their friends. Danny, Joy, Mark, and I knew who Mrs. Campbell was talking about, Fiona and Patrick. They are in the back waiting on you guys. So, we ran to the house near the church where the Campbell’s live to play with Fiona and Patrick and their 2 dogs. While the grownups went inside the church to talk about next Sunday. After a while of playing, Mother and Father said it is time to go back to the castle to eat Dinner.
When we got there, grandma had made a shepherd’s pie. Grandma’s shepherd’s pie is so always so good. So, we ate our dinner. Our grandparents insisted on putting us up for the night. They put us children in the old children’s room. Maybe it was just Mark and me, but we couldn’t sleep. We kept hearing something. “Rebecca” yes Mark, “I hear something do you?” “Yes, Mark I do it is at the door.” Mark and I walked to the door to open it. When we opened the door, we saw our grandparents’ dog Honey. “Look Rebecca it’s only Honey.” “Okay now we should go to sleep Mark tomorrow is Saturday than its Sunday.” So, we went back to sleep.
When we woke up in the morning, we woke to the singing of birds, and the sun coming through the window. Honey was at the foot of the bed. “Good morning, Rebecca,” said Joy. “We are waiting on you so we can go down together.” “Okay let me get my clothes on.” So, I hurried to put my clothes and shoes on. After that Danny, Joy, Mark and I walk downstairs to the kitchen. “Go on and sat down kids eat up then you may explore the castle grounds.” “Okay grandma.” “Where mom and dad?” “They went to the stores for food for the sub. They will be back in an hour. Now eat up.” “Okay grandma.” So, we hurried and ate so that we could go exploring.
The castle has so much to explore. A few visits ago, Joy found a secret room where Mark found an old tea set. Another time, Danny and I found an old picture of our great, great, great okay let just said really great Aunt Mary and Uncle Eric Brennan. So, we don’t know what we will find next. But sometimes we don’t find anything. Like today but that’s okay.
After mom and dad got back the day went by so quickly, but it was fun too. Soon, it was dinner then it was bedtime. When we woke up the next morning it was Sunday. So, after breakfast, we got ready for church. When we got there, Dad went with Pastor David, and we went with Mrs. Campbell.
When everyone got there, Pastor David introduced us to everyone. Then our dad started to preach and just guess what he preached about. He preached that we all need to keep our faith in God so even if the water gets too high, keep your faith. Everyone loves the story dad told them.
After the service as we were walking to the car, we ask the Campbells to please join us for lunch at the castle. They said yes. So, we all were walking to the car when we heard a meow Joy and Fiona look around then Joy saw it 4 little kittens and their mother in a basket near the church. “Dad, Dad come look!” Dad went over where Joy was. Can we keep them please?” When Danny, Mark and I saw them we start begging, too. “No!” our dad said firmly. When Dad said that we move to let our mom to see them. Then we remind mom that she wants a cat or two. Our dad looked for help from Paster David. He said sorry we have too many pets with 2 dogs. “Mother, Father ” our dad said to our grandma and grandpa, “Help”. Paster David asked, “What are you guy going to call your new pets?” Thank a lot for helping to remind us of names. Look at this. It’s a note. It says to whoever finds this please take care of the kittens and their mother. Their names are Little Peep, Sunrise, Rose, Molly and Mary Ann. Little Peep is the black one with blue eyes [boy]. Sunrise is the yellow one with green [boy]. Rose the one that one just like her mother [girl]. Molly the one that look like just like her mother but with a white chest [girl] and their mother Mary Anne with Green eyes.
Lift to Right side. Little Peep, Sunrise, Molly, Rose, and Mary Ann
Mom, can we keep them? Absolutely yes!” What?” Our father said. Come a long children let’s put the basket in the car and go. After we got to the castle we ate lunch. Then baby Jake sat down to play with Honey and us children went the children’s room with the kittens, and their mother. Fiona and I would keep them, but you heard what our dad said. Thanks Patrick. “Rebecca” “Yes, Fiona do you think you dad will let you keep the kittens?” “I hope so”. Why don’t you children ask him yourself? Dad? “Your mom talked me into it.” “Thank dad” “You guys are welcome.” After that it was time for Fiona and Patrick to go home. That night at dinner Grandma made cupcakes that looked like kittens. Grandpa made some cat toys out of some rope for the kittens. Soon, it was bedtime. So, we made the kittens and their mother to lie down in the baskets.
Before we left Dublin to go to Iceland [Reykjavík] Fiona and Patrick ran up to us. We are so happy you guys are still here. We know you have a cat tower, food and treats, but here are some toys. Thank you so much Fiona and Patrick. See you when come back to visit. Rebecca, Mark, Joy, Danny, it’s time to go. “Goodbye.” “Goodbye Fiona and Patrick.” And that’s the story of how our family grew.
In all the big cities people are hustling and bustling to get ready for Santa Claus but are they ready for Jesus to come I am asking you? What is Christmas all about? Is it the tree and Santa Claus or is it Jesus Christ I am asking you?
I will tell you what it is all about. On Christmas we remember the very first Christmas when Jesus came as a Baby. On that Christmas it was a silent night and a holy night that’s the night Jesus came. There was no room in the inn so Jesus the son of God was born in a manger in Bethlehem so long ago, there in a manger. In the same country shepherds abiding in their field, keeping their flocks by night had an Angel of the Lord come upon them. They were sore afraid the angel said unto them, Fear ye not: for, unto you and all people too is Christ the Lord, Emmanuel. You will find the babe in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. They found the baby just as the angel said. On that Silent night and Holy night that’s the night Christ the holy one, came.
This is the true meaning of Christmas. So, when it’s gets close to Christmas eve, please stop a minute and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Remember the Silent night and holy night so long ago in the Manger in Bethlehem with Jesus Christ, the Holy one came. To set us free from our worldly sin.
Bible verses
Isaiah 9:6-7

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Things to ask yourself
In all the big cities people are hustling and bustling to get ready for Santa Claus but are they ready for Jesus to come?
I don’t think they are ready for Jesus maybe Santa Claus but not Jesus.
What is Christmas all about? Is it the tree and Santa Claus or is it Jesus Christ?
I think people knew, but I think they forgot what Christmas is all about.
One day, Dan and Henry went on a fun camping trip. They packed their Blue Backpacks and started out.
When they get there, they get out of the car and run to set up camp. After that, they went for a bike ride in the woods. Dan saw a deer, and Henry saw a Blue Jay. When they got back, they started getting wood to build a fire.
That night Dan and Henry ate campfire cooked potatoes, and s’mores. After that, Henry put out the fire and went inside the tent with Dan.
That night, they heard a sound. Dan was scared. Henry, don’t go out. It could be a bear. Don’t worry, Dan. I will peak out. Henry peaked out of the tent door only a little to see what it was. Was it a bear? Then Dan peaked out. But after Dan, I saw it he said “Henry, get my Flashlight”. Henry got it, and handed it to Dan.
Dan, turn it on. After that he laughed. Henry asks, “what is it?’ Come on come out of the tent. I will show, you.”
Dan showed Henry what it was. They laughed. It was two dogs.
Dan lights the fire while Henry called the dogs. Dan gives the dogs each a peanut butter cracker. The dogs had no collars. Dan and Henry kept the dogs. It was a wonderful camping trip. That they will not forget, Dan and Henry named the dogs, Roxie and Bridget.

In this story I am remembering the 1st dog I had, Roxie, so I name one of the dogs after her, the other dog is the 2nd dog that we have now. My family and I got Bridget just before Roxie died. So, let’s remember Roxie and honor Bridget.
This poem is like a nursery rhyme you have to put a tune to it [ I use the tune of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes] but if you know a better one for you use it.
It is fall; oh, it is fall you know what that means the leaves change colors red, orange and yellow. Oh, what beautiful sight.
Oh, how the little Squires run here and there in the falling leaves to get food for the winter.
But that’s not all. Pumpkins are being picked from the farmer’s garden. Some are red like a little red apple. Some are yellow like the sun, but some orange just like a little orange.
It is funny how to tell if it is good; all you need is to tap to hear if it sounds like a hollow tree.
Fall is fun. You see apple picking is next up. If an Apple is sweet and juicy, it is ready to be picked.
It is fall; oh, it is fall. You know what season it is. It is the season for Sunflowers. Oh, how I do love fall.
There is a playground where all the children play. They all are different, yes, they know but they also know God loves to see them all play. Jesus loves the children of the world. He loves to see them play all day on the swing that flies up so high. On the seesaw and on the monkey bars they play so happily.
Playground by Bell
The playground is so pretty like a rainbow in the sky. The playground is full of color all around. Every color that you know. The children don’t just play but read to their dogs. Jesus loves to see them play and be happy. On the slide and merry-go-round. They play so happily because the children know that God loves all of them
The children love to run around playing happily in the sun all day long on the rainbow playground. They play because they know that God loves them so.
What kind of love does God have? He has a Father’s love for us. He gave his life for us that is what kind of love he has for us. We should love him because he first loved us. He loved us so much. Do we love him the way he loves us?
You look around and see. God gave us the world to live in and what a bright and beautiful world it is. He made it all for us because he loves us. God made the bird that flies so high, the flower that the bees buzz around. Do we take care of the world and love it the way God loves it and us? You look and see.
That is what a father’s love is like. He loves them who are fatherless the same way he does all of us. He loved us first, so we should love him back. He made all of us, but not the same. He loves each of us in the same way that a father loves.
There are little people in the world but how do they learn I am asking you? No, they don’t just learn overnight. They learn by seeing the world around them. Do they see good or bad in their world? You look and see. They learn by hearing the world around them. Do they hear good or bad things? Why don’t you listen and find out?
Children do what they see. They learn by tasting the food in our world. Do they taste good or bad things? Why don’t you taste to see?
Children do what they see. If they do bad look around in the world to see why. God made the grownups to tell the little children what is right and what is wrong. God made us to do right not wrong. God loves his children, that includes the grownups. He made us all to do right. Remember that children do what they see good or bad. Children see; children do.
My name is Rebecca. My family lives in a submarine. I live with my sister Joy, my brothers, Danny and Mark and there is my mom, my dad, and my dad’s helpers. We all lived in a yellow Sub. One day, it rained hard. Joy and I were worried, but my mom said let make cookies, and so we did. My dad works hard keeping us on tack to Ireland, but the waves didn’t help. Mark tried to help, but he had to watch Danny, the youngest. Danny was 5, Mark 9, Joy was 7, and I am old 12-years-old. Mother was getting worried. Father said that we are going a little deeper but not too deep. Joseph, my dad’s helper, takes us down deeper. While Tom makes sure, we don’t go too deep.
Mom asks Dad a question, “Should one of us be in the Control room?” Still a little worried Dad said, “Yes, one or maybe two should be in the Control room.” So, Dad asks Joseph and Tom to be in the control room.
Later, we ate dinner and went to bed. That night we woke; the red alert was going off. What is going on Joy asked me. I don’t know. So, Joy and I run to little Danny’s room. He was crying. Rebecca, “I am worried. Let’s see where Mark is. Maybe he is on his way to the control room,” said little Danny. Ok let’s go. When we got there, Mark was with mom and dad in the control room. “What’s going on father?” Mark asks. “The water- it is too deep!” was the reply. Daddy, are we going to be all right asked Rebecca. Yes, Rebecca we are. God is with us. He was with us when we told people about him, and he is here now.
I knew my father was right. My mom and dad are missionaries and when I was little my dad said a Bible verse a lot to me when I was scared. The verse says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6. So, I knew my dad right. If we ask God, he with Help us.
Why don’t you take the kids to the living room and pray and I will see if we can get to Ireland ok. Mom agreed and said, “I will try to call grandma and grandpa in Scotland [Edinburg]. I will tell them that we are trying to get home but having trouble making it back to Ireland [Dublin].”
Rebecca, please carry Danny. “Ok” I answered. “So, mom, are we going to sleep in the living room?” asked Mark. “Yes, Mark we are.” answered mom.
“Mom”, Joy asked, “how far are we from home?” About 2 miles. Surprisingly the call goes through. Grandma and Grandpa were so worried. After the call, dad came into the room. He said, “we are out of deep water.” We were all happy to Hear that.
The next morning Joy, Danny, Mark, Mom, Dad, Tom, Joseph, and I were so happy to walk on dry land.
