🌙 A Children’s Prayer for Peaceful Sleep

A children's bedtime scene with a sleeping boy, a teddy bear hugging a lamb, an owl, and a praying angel on a cloud under a smiling crescent moon and stars, alongside an open Bible and a lit candle

Dear God,
Thank You for watching over me tonight.
Your Word says, “When I lie down, I will not be afraid; when I lie down, my sleep will be sweet.” (Proverbs 3:24)
That means You help me rest without fear, because You are near.

Please make my heart calm and my thoughts quiet.
You give sleep to those You love (Psalm 127:2),
and I know You love me very much.

Keep my home safe, Lord.
Let Your angels stay close and guard me (Psalm 34:7).
Help me remember that You are always with me,
even when it’s dark outside.

If I start to worry, remind me that You care for me (1 Peter 5:7).
You give peace that fills my heart (Philippians 4:7).
I can rest because You never sleep—You are always watching.

Thank You for sweet dreams and a brand‑new morning full of Your love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
