How to Cook Salmon Fillets Easily

Ingredients for salmon

  • 4 Pieces of Samon
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

What to do for the Salmon

  1. Place salmon fillets, skin side on, in skillet.
  2. Wash your hands. Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook salmon over medium heat, without moving salmon, until fat begins to puddle around fillets and skin begins to brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Use tongs and spatula to carefully flip the fillets.
  5. Cook, without moving fillets, until center of each fillet registers 125 degrees on instant-read thermometer, 6 to 8 more minutes.
  6. Turn off heat. Transfer fillets, skin side down, to serving platter. Cover platter with aluminum foil.

Easy Turkey & Broccoli Alfredo Recipe

Turkey & Broccoli Alfredo

Prep/ cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Cream of mushroom soup (10 oz)
  • 1 pack of linguine (8 oz)
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1-pound skinless, boneless turkey, cubed

Directions:

  1. Prepare linguine according to package directions. Add broccoli for last 4 minutes of cooking time.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In medium skillet over medium-high heat, heat butter. Add turkey and cook until browned, stirring often.
  4. Add soup, milk, cheese, pepper, and linguine mixture and cook through, stirring occasionally. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.

Makes 4 servings

Easy Quick Microwave Pralines Treat

Things Needed

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups pecan pieces
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • Stirring Spoon
  • microwavable bowl

Steps

  1. Melt margarine in 8 cup microwavable bowl. Stir in evaporated milk and sugar.
  2. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Remove and stir. Microwave on high another 4 minutes.
  3. Remove and stir again. Add pecans and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Add vanilla and stir until mixture begins to thicken. Drop on wax paper and let cool overnight. Enjoy!

Easy Blackberry Jam Recipe for Beginners


Makes 8 eight-ounce jars

  • 4 cups blackberry juice (about 3 quarts blackberries)
  • 7½ cups sugar
  • 2 pouches (3 ounces each) liquid pectin

Directions:

  1. Prepare home canning jars and lids according to manufacturer’s instructions; jars should be covered with water and boiled 10 to 15 minutes to sterilize.
  2. Wash fully ripe berries, removing stems or caps.
  3. Crush the berries and extract juice.
  4. Measure 4 cups blackberry juice into a large saucepot; stir in sugar.
  5. Bring to a full, rolling boil over high heat.
  6. Add pectin; return to a full, rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute.
  7. Remove from heat and skim off foam.
  8. Immediately, but carefully, pour into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/8-inch head space; adjust caps.
  9. Process in a boiling hot water bath (212F) for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove jars and let cool in a draft free area.

Melting Chocolate Oatmeal coconut flakes bars

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter cereal
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes

Directions:

  1. In a double boiler melt chocolate chips over medium heat. When it starts to melt, pour in coconut milk.
  2. When all of it is almost melted put in a little at a time of oatmeal and raisins, mix well.
  3. When melted, put in the peanut butter cereal, mix in well.
  4. Grease an 8 by 8-inch pan and then pour the melted mixture into the pan.
  5. Sprinkle coconut flakes on top and then fold into the mixture.
  6. Place it in the refrigerator for about an hour, but if you can’t wait about 40 minutes.

Easy Family Dinner: Tuna Casserole

Active Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes Amount: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (16 ounce) package Medium Egg Noodles 
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (10% ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup Light Sour Cream
  • 2 (5 ounces) can  Chunk Light Tuna in Water, drained
  • ½ cup  Frozen Peas
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1½ cups crushed  Corn Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Butter, melted

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare noodles according to package directions, drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and milk, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Stir in tuna, peas, onion, and cooked noodles
  4. Transfer to a 2-quart baking dish that has been sprayed with Cooking Spray.
  5. Toss corn flakes with butter and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

Prep time 20-Minute

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons HERSHEY’S Cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) REESE’S Peanut Butter Chips

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
  6. Stir in peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not over bake; cookies will be soft.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

    Makes about 3 dozen cookies.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas Recipe

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts cubed
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • ½ pack taco seasoning
  • 2½ cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 pack small tortillas

Directions:

  1. Sauté chicken in taco seasoning.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, tomatoes, 1 ½ cups cheese.
  3. Spoon chicken and mixture onto tortillas
  4. Roll up and place in baking dish.
  5. Pour remainder of soup mixture over enchiladas.
  6. Top with remaining cheese
  7. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Simple Sausage in a Blanket Recipe

These are great. We like to eat these with cheesy grits.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of link sausage
  • 1 pack of croissants

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Separate the croissant dough. You might need to cut one croissant triangle in half so that you have enough dough for all of the sausages.
  3. Wrap the sausages with the croissant dough.
  4. Place on a cookie sheet that has been greased.
  5. Place in the oven for about 14 minutes or until the croissants are light brown.
  6. Enjoy

Quick and Easy Fried Mushrooms Recipe

Fried Mushrooms can be a great addition to many meals. They are quick and easy to make.
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms fresh or canned.
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon minced parsley
  • 1/4 cup onions (optional)

Directions:

  1. Clean and slice mushrooms (if using fresh).
  2. Heat butter or margarine in a skillet.
  3. Add mushrooms and onions (if using) to skillet.
  4. Cook slowly, occasionally moving and turning gently with a spoon, until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.
  5. Sprinkle with minced parsley.
  6. Put mushrooms in a warm dish and serve immediately.
