[…] March 11, 2012 Why do some many Christians look more like the world than a Christian? It seems that Christians think that they can pick and choose what they want from the Bible. Do they not know that the Bible is not a buffet? In order to go to heaven, you must put your trust in Jesus completely. The evidence of your trust in Jesus is walking in his statues. If you come and simply say some words and then pick the parts of the Bible that you like, you will still go to hell. Example the Bible clearly says that a homosexual lifestyle is wrong. God may allow you to live that way because of your disobedience to him. However, that means you will go to hell. Plain and simple. Revelation 21:8 says, “But people who are cowardly, unfaithful, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”Another example, the Bible says that being drunk is wrong. If you have been drunk in the past, repent. Otherwise, the Bible says, “the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”For those who do not know what orgies are below is the dictionary definition. wild, drunken or licentious festivity or revelry. 2. any actions or proceedings marked by unbridled indulgence of passion 3. orgies, (in ancient Greece) esoteric religious rituals, especially in the worship of Demeter or, characterized in later times by wild dancing, singing, and drinking. 4. Informal. a boisterous, rowdy party. This means that those who like to have or go to parties that include drinking and wild dancing will not go to heaven, unless they repent. Repent means to turn from the sin. In other words, stop doing it. In addition, during this process you ask Jesus for forgiveness. Notice that this scripture says that you will not inherit the kingdom of God. That means you will go to Hell. Also, notice that sexual immorality is included in this scripture. Those of you will practice such activity will go to hell unless you repent. I would like for everyone to go to heaven that is why I am trying to warn people. I have noticed that some Preachers have started sugar coating the truth. Unfortunately, the same rules still apply. Therefore, sugar coating the truth only causes more harm than good. It is wrong to pat someone on the back and tell them everything is OK, when they are obvious living in sin. For those Preachers who still preach all of the Bible, keep up the good work. Just remember that Jesus said to love the people. All people need to know that they are loved and cared for. Many people do not like to hear that their lifestyle is not acceptable. Often times they will get very angry with you. That is OK. Just remember to keep praying for them and trying to show the Love of Jesus. Overcoming Challenges: Faith in Modern Society […]

[…] If what you are doing for God is not based on love of God, please examine your motives and heart. You don’t want to hear at the end of time, depart from me, I never knew you. Overcoming Challenges: Faith in Modern Society […]
[…] Similarly, people are unique. Even within the same family, two individuals may not share the same reactions or perspectives. Each person possesses distinct strengths and talents, and no single talent surpasses another. Just as no tree species is superior to another, some are simply more suitable for certain environments, while others are out of place. For instance, an oak tree is out of place on a sandy beach, whereas a palm tree thrives there. Both tree types are wonderful, each with their own advantages and limitations, akin to people. The trees that endure the longest are those that flex and sway with the wind, knowing when to bend and when to stand firm. This principle applies to people as well. Those who are inflexible tend to suffer from stress-related ailments and may have shorter lifespans. In contrast, those who discern when to adapt and when to stand their ground often lead longer, more fulfilling lives. Overcoming Challenges: Faith in Modern Society […]
[…] February 15, 2012 Many times, I look around and it seems to me that non-Christians are doing better than Christians are. I do not understand why my husband fails to be able to get contract painting work. I ask God why this other family-owned painting company can find work, yet they are not Christians. God reminds me that I cannot see what he sees or know what is going on with that family. He also reminds me that he can use the ungodly to bless the godly. I then thank God while suppressing a laugh as I remember that when Satan wants to do something he must first get permission from God. Satan must present his plans to God and get permission. God then decides. Then God can either deny access or grant access. However, the fine print is always added when permission is granted. This fine print is kind of like the small print at the bottom of a contract. A great example of this is found in Job. In chapter 1, Satan asks for permission to tempt Job. The interesting thing is that Satan must get permission. God answers and says, “…Behold all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand…” (Job 1:12). Therefore, I can still rejoice even though Satan does not want our painting company to prosper. I rejoice because I know that at this time, he cannot prevent my husband from getting subcontract work. All Christians can rejoice because God always adds in fine print. This limits what Satan can do.Satan has a plan, but the fine print stops him from being completely successful, unless we stop trusting God. Overcoming Challenges: Faith in Modern Society […]
