Bible Studies: Lessons from People in Scripture

Bible Studies: Lessons from People in Scripture

We are able to learn many things when we study the lives of people who have gone on before us. Scripture is filled with real men and women whose stories reveal God’s faithfulness, His guidance, and His ability to work through ordinary people in extraordinary ways. As we look at their choices, their struggles, and their victories, we begin to see how God shapes hearts, redirects paths, and fulfills His purposes.

It is interesting—and encouraging—to learn how God was able to work in the lives of so many different individuals. Their experiences remind us of a timeless truth: “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning” (Romans 15:4). Remember, those who don’t learn from the past are often doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. The Bible gives us these stories so we can grow in wisdom, avoid pitfalls, and walk more faithfully with the Lord.

Below is a growing collection of Bible studies about various people in Scripture. More will be added as time goes on, offering fresh opportunities to explore how God works through His people across generations.
